Building the Bridge: How AnyWare Apps Delivers Real-Time ERP Financial Data for a Nonprofit

At AnyWare Apps, we specialize in building seamless integrations that eliminate operational friction and give organizations complete confidence in their financial systems. When this nonprofit came to us, they were struggling with delayed credit card transaction data, third-party processing bottlenecks, and limited visibility into real-time spend. Their finance team was often one to two weeks behind, making proactive decision-making difficult.

By developing a reliable, automated integration between Ramp and Sage Intacct, we helped consolidate their spend management into a single, streamlined ecosystem. Transactions now flow accurately and on time in the background, providing immediate visibility, stronger controls, and peace of mind. The result is more than just a technical integration—it’s a trusted financial infrastructure that leadership and staff alike recognize as a major organizational win.

For mission-driven organizations especially, having systems that simply work is essential. That’s where AnyWare Apps comes in.

Our Client's Perspective

"We previously had to work with a third party to integrate all of our credit card transactions into Coupa and process them that way, which created a huge amount of delay. We were often a week or two behind from when a transaction was actually processed, so it was difficult to capture spend in a timely manner.

Moving over to Ramp was a huge win for our organization. Not only did it allow us to operate within one platform, but because Ramp has its own cards and credit limits, we were able to consolidate everything in one place. Now we can capture spend much more quickly, we have immediate visibility, and we have full control over everything we need to do inside the Ramp platform. We’re no longer waiting on transactions to sync over from somewhere else.

One of the biggest positives has been how willing Ramp is to work with us. They really wanted to understand our needs—not just how we could use their current platform, but how they could continue to improve and build it out to better serve us. As a nonprofit organization, it’s been a huge win to have a partner that is sensitive to our unique needs and interested in supporting that space.

We connect with Ramp frequently—often weekly—just to touch base on how things are going and explore ways to make the platform even better. They’ve been incredibly open to partnering with us. It feels deeper than just a business relationship. There’s trust there. We trust that everything is running smoothly in the background, and we don’t have to think about it day to day.

The integration that was built and runs in the background has been very reliable. It’s rare that something doesn’t transfer correctly or on time. That level of trust means we’re not worrying about it every day, every week, or every month—and that’s gold.

We’ve even had team members notice the difference. One team member who had worked with us a few years ago and recently rejoined the team reached out to share how impressed he was with the difference between our previous system and Ramp. He said it made his job so much easier.

At a recent staff meeting, one of our senior executives spoke to our finance team and reiterated what a huge win Ramp has been for the organization overall. Hearing that from senior leadership was significant. They may not experience the day-to-day details the same way our team does, but they see the broader impact and hear the feedback from the teams they lead about how much more efficient things have become.

Changing systems is a big process, but it was absolutely worth it. Since implementing Ramp and ensuring everything flows accurately and timely into our ERP, it’s been seamless. For our team, hearing positive feedback from leadership and knowing we found the right solution has felt like a major win.

At the end of the day, the best part is that we don’t have to worry about it. Once everything is set up and running, we don’t have to constantly dig into issues. That peace of mind is invaluable."

Mid-market businesses rely on ERP systems to run their operations, yet many still struggle with manual data entry and disconnected systems. These inefficiencies slow teams down, introduce errors, and make growth more expensive than it needs to be. API-driven ERP integrations are changing that reality. Organizations are always looking for ways to control spending and improve financial visibility, but one area that often receives less attention is how expense management systems affect tax reporting. Platforms like Ramp have gained traction because they help finance teams track expenses, enforce policies, and maintain clear documentation. When paired with the right accounting integration, those capabilities can also support stronger tax reporting processes. Ramp’s approach to spend management provides organizations with better control over corporate card usage, vendor payments, and expense documentation. Every transaction captured in the platform includes detailed metadata such as receipts, merchant information, and categorization. These details can play an important role during tax preparation and financial audits, particularly when organizations need to verify deductible expenses or provide supporting documentation. However, the real operational value appears when this expense data flows directly into the accounting system where financial reporting and tax preparation ultimately take place.
