AnyWare Apps at OnRamp 2026: Notes from Ramp’s Finance Leadership Summit

Cherry Bekaert’s AnyWare Apps team spent three days in San Francisco with Ramp’s finance community. Here’s what we saw, heard, and took home.

OnRamp 2026 brought finance leaders together in San Francisco for September 29 through October 1 at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero. The AnyWare Apps team was on the floor at the Cherry Bekaert booth, talking with controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams about the question we hear most: how do we get Ramp and our ERP to work together without the manual work?

The big theme: autonomous finance

The opening product keynote on September 30 was titled “The Future of Autonomous Finance.” Ramp’s leadership laid out a roadmap where AI agents handle the repetitive work and finance teams return to work that moves the business. The agenda around it followed the same thread, with sessions on agentic accounting, running accounts payable on Ramp, and how Ramp’s own teams put AI to work internally. Ramp’s economics team also presented an outlook on who is paying for AI and what threats are emerging.

This fits where Ramp has been heading all year. In April, Ramp launched AI agents that work together across the buying process, handling request triage, vendor sourcing, contract review, and compliance checks. It followed with an Applied AI Solutions offering that embeds engineers with enterprise finance teams to build agents inside existing workflows. OnRamp was where that direction came together for the people who actually run finance operations.

Beyond the sessions

The program wasn’t all product talk. Eric Glyman, Ramp’s co-founder and co-CEO, hosted a conversation with three-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White about the preparation and setbacks behind peak performance. The sponsor floor also showed how wide Ramp’s ecosystem has grown, with ERP and accounting platforms, travel and payments providers, and consulting firms all represented.

What we heard at the booth

Agents and automation drew a lot of interest, but the conversations we had kept returning to the ERP. Agents are only as useful as the data underneath them. That makes clean, real-time syncing between Ramp and the general ledger the foundation for everything else.

That’s where AnyWare Apps fits. As a Platinum Ramp Partner, we build integrations that connect Ramp to Sage ERPs. Our integrations sync bills, payments, vendors, credit card transactions, purchase orders, custom fields, and employee reimbursements in real time, with no CSV uploads in between. We support Sage 100, Sage 100 Contractor, Sage 300, and Sage 300 CRE, with Sage Intacct and Sage X3 on the way.

Takeaways

  1. Autonomy needs a solid data foundation. As Ramp’s agents take on more work, the ERP connection matters more.
  2. Mid-market finance teams are ready. Among Sage users, they are looking for
  3. The ecosystem is converging. ERPs, accountants, and spend platforms are building around each other.

Mid-market businesses rely on ERP systems to run their operations, yet many still struggle with manual data entry and disconnected systems. These inefficiencies slow teams down, introduce errors, and make growth more expensive than it needs to be. API-driven ERP integrations are changing that reality. Instead of relying on spreadsheets and manual handoffs, modern integrations allow systems to exchange data automatically and in real time—creating faster, more accurate, and more scalable workflows. Why API-Driven Integration Matters Manual ERP processes often consume 10–15 hours per week per employee and significantly increase the risk of data errors. API-based connectors eliminate this friction by enabling: Real-time ERP data synchronization Fewer manual errors and rework Faster financial close cycles Scalable workflows without added headcount For mid-market organizations, this shift delivers enterprise-level efficiency without enterprise-level complexity. The Role of RAMP and AnyWare Apps RAMP provides the integration foundation that connects ERP systems through secure APIs, streamlining workflows and maintaining data accuracy across platforms. AnyWare Apps builds and delivers ERP-focused, API-driven integration solutions that help businesses move from manual chaos to seamless sync.
